Joe Mansfield
Principal
Once Joe retired from the railway after 45 years (and 3 weeks!) he sought life here in sunny Gran Canaria with his wife Natalie.
Joe is a very good competent crew and wishes to go no further, as he says..."We can't have two skippers onboard"(wise man!)
Joe has over 30 years of being an operations manager with the railway, working in places such as Glasgow and the West Highlands. During his time there he assessed train drivers and conductors, so instead of rail training he changed track to sail training, and all his experience now comes together in Poseidon Atlantic Sailing School with his wife Natalie.

She now lives in Gran Canaria with her husband Joe. They have been living there since 2016.
SY Poseidon
Sail Training Vessel
Our sailing yacht Poseidon is a 1990, Dehler 37CWS. She has 3 cabins, so you are guaranteed to have your own personal space. We bought Poseidon in 2018, from the marina in Sitges, Barcelona, and sailed her down to the Puerto de Mogán, where she has been based ever since. She is fully equipped and coded to Category 2, up to 60 miles offshore.
We look forward to introducing her to you all.
