Example of your itinerary
First evening: Arrive at the boat and meet your instructor and have a safety brief.
Day 1/2:Prepare the yacht and depart for Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, or direct to Puerto Calero, Lanzarote, this will depend entirely on the crews' ability and weather.
Day 3: Once in Puerto Calero, Lanzarote, you can relax knowing that the rest of your journey will be slightly easier because the winds should be the prevailing NE.
Day 4: Departing for Morro Jable, Fuerteventura through the straits between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and enjoy the NE winds on a broad reach.
Day 5/6: Depart Morro Jable, Fuerteventura and head for Gran Canaria, either directly to Puerto de Mogán or stopping first at Pasito Blanco.
This would be a great week for those wishing to gain extra miles and skipper passages.
Please note that the Eastern Inter-Island Sailing consists of at least 2 full days of sailing (15+ hours). For this, you must be physically fit and have the minimum qualification of Competent Crew.
